DAY 1 Arrival at Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha.
DAY 2 Walking Safari & Game Drive in Arusha NP, picnic lunch

DAY 3 Game Drive into Tarangire NP - elephant reserve, 500 bird species & experience the biggest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti.
DAY 4  Hot Air Ballon flight over the Serengeti watching the 
Wildebeest migration followed by an English Champagne breakfast. Various guide-led activities such as a village walk.
DAY 5 Ngorongo crater drive - one of the wonders of the world, the biggest volcanic Caldera and Africa's biggest mammals. Masaai village walk & picnic lunch far far away from the lions, hyenas, jackals.

DAY 6 to 10 Shorthaul to 
Zanzibar

Relaxation, revitalisation, white sandy beaches, clear waters, and coral reefs along the Indian Ocean.  You will also have the chance to enjoy surfing, and coconut picking, exploring the local life and cuisine and visit the markets. Sauti Za Busara Music Festival in February, Seafood Festival in June, Zanzibar International Film Festival in July, or simply enjoy the monthly Full Moon Party

Accommodation

This  package will see you visit three parts of the country.

  • The first is a five star Full Board hotel in the North West  in Murchisons National park and an overnight in a 5 star transit hotel.

  • The second is a mid-range fully furnished apartment in Kampala. Equatorial breakfast options are provided, two poolside barbecues & a cultural dinner outing but otherwise you have the option to cook. 

  • The third is a backpacker experience at the source of the Nile in South Eastern Uganda where we can share a dormitory as a group or cottages for two.  Daily food budget here is between £2-£5.


DAY 1  Arrive at Entebbe airport,  acclimatise at Protea Hotel Entebbe
DAY 2 Four hours drive to Murchisons NP via Kiwa Rhino Sanctuary. Take in the culture & arrive in time for a late afternoon Game Drive. 
DAY 3 Morning Game Drive and afternoon boat cruise.
DAY 4 Game Drive out and back to Kampala. Evening barbecue.
DAY 5 Cultural & social activities exploring Kampala. Apartment stay.
DAY 6 Drive 2 hours to the source of the Nile. Quad bike sightseeing. 
DAY 7 White water rafting and evening surfboard yoga
DAY 8 Morning white water tubing, afternoon walking tour & back to Kampala.
DAY 9 Kampala tours and enjoy the night life.  Poolside barbie & drinks.
DAY 10 Kampala souvenir shopping & dinner at Cultural Centre.
DAY 11 Chilled morning & prepare for evening departure to London

Day 12 - 13 Stop over in Qatar for desert experience (additional cost).

PRICES INCLUDE:
  • Scheduled international flights including fly-in Safaris, chattered small planes or helicopters.

  • In-destination transfers using ordinary or luxury land cruisers, vans with pop-up roofs for game viewing and coaster vans for larger groups.

  • All accommodation – carefully selected hotels, apartments, camps and lodges.

  • Activities and excursions as agreed, booked in advance but can be added on the go.

  • 24-hour on-call tour support – I can travel if desired but  also work with ground  representatives.

VISAS
  • I will guide you through the visa process and any other entry requirements.

    • Uganda visas are applied for online

    • Rwanda visas are applied for online

    • Kenyan visas are applied for online

    • Tanzanian visas are applied for online

    • Qatar visas free for British citizens

    • South African visas are applied for online but are generally not required for tourism or business of up to 90 days
